I've just finished filtering my water and it's getting dark; time to ride back to camp at Piute Gorge, in those distant hills

I have 15-20 miles of bicycle riding ahead of me yet! A few miles down the road, in the dark, I encounter a lot of loud coyote yipping. I keep looking around to see if I can see them under the bright moonlight (they're so close), but I don't.
