I'm on the Providence Mountains ridge again, so I look to the south toward a hiking route as yet unexplored

If I were hiking from Providence Mountains State Recreation Area (my original plan), that would be my route. However, that park is closed this spring. Instead, I'm hiking in the opposite direction.
