At the mouth of Saddle Horse Canyon is a guzzler (a pad of concrete), dry right now due to lack of rain
It's as ugly as a shopping-mall parking lot on a small scale, but it collects water during rain and makes it available for wildlife after the rain is gone. Very useful. Some feel that the ugliness is worth it in a wilderness landscape, while others don't.
