After crossing the little valley, I take a look back up toward the Cliff Canyon Spring Peaks to look at its banded appearance

In the foreground is the band with little yellow flowers, then the grey-green band of bunch grass (which looks almost like sagebrush from here), followed by a band of juniper trees.
