I'm finally out of Butcher Knife canyon and walking down an easy-to-hike sandy area Exiting the mouth of Butcher Knife Canyon, erosion in the sand shows that there's quite a bit of water here from time to timeThumbnailsA few verbenas are still flowering in the mouth of Butcher Knife CanyonExiting the mouth of Butcher Knife Canyon, erosion in the sand shows that there's quite a bit of water here from time to timeThumbnailsA few verbenas are still flowering in the mouth of Butcher Knife CanyonExiting the mouth of Butcher Knife Canyon, erosion in the sand shows that there's quite a bit of water here from time to timeThumbnailsA few verbenas are still flowering in the mouth of Butcher Knife CanyonExiting the mouth of Butcher Knife Canyon, erosion in the sand shows that there's quite a bit of water here from time to timeThumbnailsA few verbenas are still flowering in the mouth of Butcher Knife CanyonExiting the mouth of Butcher Knife Canyon, erosion in the sand shows that there's quite a bit of water here from time to timeThumbnailsA few verbenas are still flowering in the mouth of Butcher Knife Canyon

It's always nice to find water in the desert, so the peaceful hike in Butcher Knife Canyon was enjoyable and leisurely. However, it took more time than I anticipated.
