I continue hiking down the Bristol Mountains alluvial fan toward Broadwell Dry Lake; it's a beautiful, peaceful world out here

Fortunately, the Broadwell Dry Lake area is being considered for future Wilderness designation. Hopefully, a few of the main dirt roads will remain open to provide basic recreational access while protecting the area from unnecessary development.
