Running down the middle of Broadwell Dry Lake is the remains of the former Tonopah & Tidewater Railroad bed
Looking south toward Ludlow and Route 66. This railroad was built a few years before 1910. Apparently, this segment of the railroad to Ludlow was abandoned in 1933 after a major flood in the area.
