I stop to look at a road that leads into the former Vanderbilt Mines area

While passing here, an approaching small van slows down, and the driver gives me a thumbs up and yells, "I wish I could do that!"

My ego loves positive reinforcement like this, but I'm really not Superman, even though it may appear that way to the uninitiated. I'm in good, but not exceptional, physical condition.

This mine area is another spot that I'd like to take an hour or two to explore, but not today.
