Looking down from the Kelso Peak ridge line past a few joshua trees and indigo bushes, I wonder how I made it up here!

Steep hikes and bike rides don't bother me, but it's very different when loose rock, instead of a trail, is the climbing surface. I guess I'm still a hiker, and not a mountain climber.
