I pause when I cross the junction of Rainbow Wells Road to enjoy the view across to the Providence Mountains

This would make an interesting route down to Kelso Depot, but wouldn't be easy in the uphill direction due to the sand. The low mountain on the way down looks like a good place for a secluded camp and hike.
