The desert mallows around here must be a different species than the one I planted in my backyard in San José. These flowers here tend to close at the end of the day (mine doesn't do that). - The desert mallows I'm seeing around here must be a different species than the one I planted in my backyard in San José. I've noticed that the flowers on these plants tend to close up at the end of the day (mine doesn't do that).
