It's 17h and already dark; I'm not an early-riser (I wish I could be), so I really dislike the short days at this time of year!

I have about 3/4 mile (perhaps 20 minutes) until I reach home for the night at my tent near Cornfield Spring Road. I put on my windbreaker due to the chill in the air.
