Downhill on Morning Star Mine Road is not steep, but it is long: about 11.5 miles on a 2 percent grade
It's a lot of fun going down, but quite time-consuming and tiring to ride in the uphill direction. The 11.5-mile-long hill drops from about 4285 feet elevation down to 2750 feet.
