I walk across Cedar Canyon Road, then Cedar Wash, then climb up the hill on a trail-less route back to Mid Hills campground

The easiest, but longer, route from here back to Mid Hills campground would be to walk up Black Canyon Road. However, I want to explore a little and hike the hills in front of me instead. I eat a Larabar apple pie bar on the way up the hill.
