I don't mind the dead moths in the Chicken Water Spring basin, but the dead lizard makes the water less appetizing

I pluck the dead lizard out of the water and leave it on the ground for the wildlife to eat. There's no algal growth in this spring tub, so the water would probably be fine after filtering, despite the dead lizard, which hasn't started to decompose.
