More tarweed (if that's what it is) along the trail. It smells great, almost a lemony evergreen smell, similar to woolly blue curls (trichostema lanatum). Unfortunately, the plant leaves lots of tiny sticky burs that attach themselves to socks and legs by the dozens, if not hundreds. I'll probably discard all the socks I've worn during this camping trip.
