A benign switchback on Willow Ridge Trail just beyond the log in the poison oak grove gives me a few more problems.

I'm trying to keep the bike (and myself) on the two-foot wide trail without it slipping and falling into the adjacent poison oak while I negotiate the tight corner.

Why is such a simple concept proving to be so difficult in execution?
