At Primm, I stop for breakfast at the Mad Greek, and follow up with coffee at the Starbuck's; see y'all next year...
Nice to have a big lazy breakfast and hot coffee again! After this, I ride over to the other side of the freeway to catch my Amtrak bus. After a few hours on the bus, I'm back on the Amtrak train heading up the Central Valley; I'll arrive home around 22h.
The amazing thing is that I meet someone on the train who was on the train on my way out here. Furthermore, we met on this train last year at the same time! I keep meeting interesting people on the train that I would never have met had I driven out here in my own car. Like Alex, last year...
Yes, I've met a few duds on Amtrak too, but meeting great people is always nice.
