Somewhat rejuvenated from my break in the shade, I return to the 10-ton bike to continue the ride (or walk) up Ivanpah Road

The sun is a bit lower, thus not quite so hot, and the temperature has probably dropped into the low 90s F at this point, maybe even the high 80s. I try to eat an energy bar, but can only eat half of it.
