I presume the Keystone Spring water hole here has more (and fresher) water during the wetter season

The water here is a bit murky, but tastes OK after filtering, despite its appearance. The water is likely not very fresh, probably leftovers accumulated from the last precipitation. I should have brought more water bottles; I'm going through so much.
